Tried it when it first opened ( a couple years ago?) and didn't like it.  Now I was told food has improved. So we gave it a try again.  Ordered takeouts x 3 times.  Generous portion.   Meter parking up front.    Free small Parking lot at back shared with keyfood/ restaurant/ dollar store etc.    you can go through the back door.

    - 黑椒牛柳絲炒意粉Shredded beef black pepper fried spaghetti.    $8.95.  Thumbs up!!!! Also tried it with Mei Fun.  米粉。 Aldo good but spaghetti is better
    - 咖哩牛腩飯。Beef stew curry sauce over rice.   $7.95.  Thumbs up!!   1 out of 3 times was short on sauce.  Little dry. Other two times was great.
    - 肉絲炒麵shredded pork  with pan fried noodles.   Sauce was served to the side.   Sauce was too salty and it has a weird taste to it.   Totally thumbs down!
-粟米班塊飯Fish Filet with sweet corn over rice.   I was told by friends not to get anything with white sauce but I didn't listen.   They were right! The white sauce was too thick and corn starchy.   Thumbs down!!!!

Conclusion:  will return.  Definitely try to first two items above.  Call ahead for pick up.

This small shop serves plenty of Hong Kong style foods for cheap prices. The food is just alright but it's quick and easy, making it a casual breakfast or lunch. In the mornings, they typically have combo sets of noodles/porridge/sandwiches, eggs and a drink. They also have Chinese bakery buns which are decent. The taste is just alright but for the price, it's not bad.

Order food, eat food, leave in a timely manner so that you can free up some seats for the next diners.

Decent place to get some quick cheap HK style breakfast. Ordered the Hi-Tea combo $6 (beef satay over rice noodles, buttered toast with scramble gees and ham and a milk tea) which is available all day long.  Noodles were good, the beef satay (curry) was flavorful. I didn't taste any msg. The food itself was a good portion, not too skimpy. HK style Milk tea was delicious, tasted like they actually brewed it.

Overall I would go back for a quick meal.

My first time having breakfast at a Hong Kong Cafe and it did not really live up to my expectations...

I went early so there were plenty of seats and it was not crowded. I ordered Breakfast Set B, Breakfast Set C, 2 coffees, and a pineapple bun. When the cashier was taking my order, she asked what kind of meat I wanted with each Set, but I was not sure what she was talking about at first and she had an attitude towards me. That threw me off a little.

Then, we sat down to wait and the food was ready pretty soon. I had Set C, which was a ham and egg sandwich and oatmeal. The sandwich was ok, nothing special, and I could definitely make better oatmeal than them! As for Set B, which was buttered toast with ham and 2 eggs, it was alright, but again nothing special. The coffee had to be the best because it was not too sweet; just right.

The portion sizes are decent for breakfast, but I would choose Cafe 48 over this for sure!
